Do not mess with Drake! The hitmaker is back with another Meek Mill diss, "Back To Back."
With the track riding an uptempo rhythm in comparison to "Charged Up," which was released just a few days prior, the "Know Yourself" rapper has taken the ongoing feud as the ultimate opportunity to show off his ability to slay his competition.
The entire song takes shot at the MMG artist, including the title. The OVO boss kicks off by addressing Meek's lag on getting his bars up, spitting, "I did another one, I did another one / You still ain't did s**t about the other one."
Drake also admits that although is out of his character, he has to let his hater know who is the boss. "Very important and very pretentious / â¨When I look back I might be mad that I gave this attention," he confesses. "But it's weighing heavy on my conscience / And f**k, you left a boy no options."
The Toronto lyricist then takes it to the next level and reminds the Philly emcee that he is getting slammed by a "soft" rapper: "Yeah, trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers / You gettin' bodied by a singin' n***a" / "I'm not the type of n***a that'll type to n***asâ¨."
Drake is not done yet. He rips on Meek's relationship with fellow YMCMB MC Nicki Minaj, professing that she is the better rapper and he does not forsee them as an item for much longer anyway: "You love her, then you gotta give the world to her / â¨Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?"
Drizzy even implies that as a "softer" lyricist, he understands women better. "I know that you gotta be a thug for her / This ain't what she meant when she told you to open up more," he raps.
Ouch. Talk about fanning the fire! Drake has left no stone unturned in his path. This flury of hot new disses comes after the "Monster" hitmaker took to Twitter to declare his disdain for being compared to the "Views from the 6" rapper, going as far to say he uses a ghostwriter. Meek Mill, it is your move!
