Birdman finally broke his silence on ongoing feud with Lil Wayne in an exclusive tell-all interview with Power 105.1's Angie Martinez.
Weezy is reportedly still dealing with his $51 million lawsuit against Baby and Cash Money Records, resulting in the uncertainty of his "Tha Carter V" album release.
During the recent interview, the YMCMB CEO expressed his sadness over the beef and said that his longtime partner's diss "was shocking to everybody. You never thought Mula [Wayne] would be saying nothing negative about me, ever, in no lifetime."
"I never thought that could ever happen - for that man to open his mouth and say something negative about me... that was a lot. S**t f**ked my day up," he continued. "I love my son. He mean the world to me. For that man to say something negative about me, that affected my life."
Also, Wayne previously claimed that Drake and Nicki Minaj might leave Young Money due to Birdman's poor management.
According to the documents obtained by TMZ, the New Orleans emcee expressed doubt about his protégés staying with the record company, insisting that his partner failed to pay them the profits they made, among other things he owed.
As a result, Lil Tunechi reportedly signed with a royalties collection company, Kobalt Neighbouring Rights.
AllHipHop reported that with the involvement of the London-based firm services, the "Selsun Blue" rapper wants to win back what he believes is owed to him, including unpaid royalties and record advances by Cash Money.
According to Kobalt's website, the company uses a "powerful tracking system" to "ensure all income is correctly accounted" for their clients and develop "detailed expectations from third party performance data, Territory expectations from Kobalt's pre-distribution health check, as well as from the client's income data."
With that being said, Birdman addressed the rumors that should Wayne leave, Cash Money would also say goodbye to the Young Money roster.
"No. You're just listening to what they say," he said. "Nicki [Minaj] and Drake ain't going nowhere, regardless."
The full-length interview is scheduled to air Tuesday at 4 p.m. on Power 105.1.
