Former couple and "X-Men: Apocalypse" co-stars, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, were reportedly spotted screaming at each other over dinner at Nobu Restaurant during the recent San Diego Comic-Con.
Lawrence (Mystique) and Hoult (Beast) attended the the Comic-Con to promote their upcoming movie, "X-Men: Apocalypse." The former couple then went out for some sushi where the heated argument took place.
Celebrity Dirty Laundry posted an article from Star Magazine with an eye-witness statement that said: "Jen was clearly upset with the topic of discussion. She threw her hands up in the air as she yelled at Nick who appeared agitated with her reaction. Next thing you know he starts screaming too, it was quite a heated discussion before she finally walked out on him, leaving him to pay the bill."
According to Kpopstarz, the "Hunger Games" lead actress went to a party hosted by Entertainment Weekly after the said confrontation. Hoult arrived a little later for the same party. Sparks flew as Lawrence exchanged piercing glances with her ex-boyfriend and even refused to sit on the same cabana with him.
In an interview from last year, Lawrence mentioned how she and Hoult broke up. Lawrence said that they were both busy with their careers and reached a point where they both ignore each other. She added that it's not a complete disregard towards one another, but not enough to get mad at that person.
Going back to the story, fans were surprised to see the two of them together outside of Comic-Con. There were even some fans who had high hopes that the couple's relationship might take a turn for the better after a snug picture of them as Beast and Mystique was posted at the "Apocalypse" set, according to Movie News Guide.
However, Lawrence mentioned in the past that she has plans of marrying current boyfriend and "Cold Play" frontman, Chris Martin. A report said that Lawrence got tired of Martin but this news was refuted when the couple were spotted together at a U2 concert and after party in Los Angeles, California earlier in June. Hoult, on the other hand, persistently continued to win back his ex-girlfriend despite repetitively getting shot down by Lawrence.
The feeling of working alongside a special someone brings about a different kind of enthusiasm and joy to a person. However, that feeling turns upside down and inside out when working with a former lover, which is what Hoult probably felt. Regardless of all these information and sources, fans may never know what the real reason that led to Hoult and Lawrence's public screaming incident.
