Here comes a new challenger! A new character has been added to the "Street Fighter V" and unlike previous reveals of returning characters, this fighter is the first new one to be unveiled by Capcom.

"Street Fighter V" is slowly starting to shape up as the character roster of the game now being filled up by Capcom. While previous reveals of characters are returning characters, Capcom is still set to give fans something as they unveil, Necalli, the newest fighter to join the "Street Fighter V" roster.

As confirmed in the official PlayStation Blog, Capcom Community Manager Peter Rosas gave a ton of new details about the new fighter Necalli.

After returning from EVO 2015, Rosas confirmed that Necalli would be one of the new original characters added to the "Street Fighter V" roster and that he states that Necalli is for players that prefer hard hitting, no nonsense characters.

"There's no finesse here as all of his attacks have been forged through the heat of battle to inflict maximum pain upon his opponents. Players who enjoy a straight forward, hard hitting character will feel right at home with Necalli, as he possesses a wide variety of savage, close range attacks, as well as a command grab, all with the goal of demolishing his foes," says Rosas about Necalli.

Rosas also detailed the V-Skill and V-Trigger of Necalli in his post on the official PlayStation Blog. He notes that V-Skill of Necalli is a directed explosion attack that would allow players to keep pressuring their opponent regardless of their position in the screen. Rosas also detailed Necalli's V-Trigger called "Torrent of Power" in which Necalli channels a mysterious energy that warps his hair color and completely changes his personality for a short period of time. Rosas notes that Necalli gains access to new combos, new frame data, and even a new Critical Art when using "Torrent of Power".

Meanwhile, in a separate post on the official PlayStation Blog, Rosas detailed that "Street Fighter V" would have a new way of handling DLC as he notes that players can get the DLC for the game for free if they desire. A good grind would happen should they decide to not buy the DLC though.

Rosas also notes that new fighters would be added after the game has been released but states that "Street Fighter V" will have 16 playable characters, 4 of them being brand new fighters.

"Street Fighter V" is to be released for the PS4 and PC on March 2016.
