During WWE Battleground 2015, most fans were simply awaiting what diabolical plot Seth Rollins would come up with just to hang on to the belt.

The belief that Rollins would get himself disqualified though it could be of his own doing since his backup, The Authority, were taken out during WWE RAW. So with outside interference negated, it looked that the only way Rollins was leaving with the WWE title was through DQ.

Once the bell rang, Brock Lesnar started charging though Rollins tried to valiantly stand up by working on the legs of the former. The momentum did quickly change as the Beast Incarnate started sending Rollins to ‘Suplex City’ and it would only be a matter of time before The Architect eventually gives in.

Rollins even tried to run away with the title but Lesnar was too wise to allow him to do that (and probably win via countout). Given the resilience of Lesnar, what could possibly save Rollins?

The answer came with Rollins seemingly out of it. The lights went out and a haunting tune went off; the Undertaker has returned!

There were already rumors that hinted that the Undertaker would be making an appearance though such was left unconfirmed.

There were actually signs as early as WWE RAW though many didn’t take it seriously. There was a segment about the contract-signing between Rollins and Lesnar at that show. You can watch the segment below.

During that segment, Paul Heyman did say something like “being threatened by the Undertaker’s baby brother”. Hence such was obviously a hint though Lesnar and Heyman (per storylines) never really expected the Dead Man to interfere in the WWE Battleground PPV.

As it stand now, the Undertaker’s emergence is obvious – he wants a piece of Lesnar and it will happen at WWE SummerSlam.

The Undertaker explained his actions on WWE RAW and apparently the Phenom had enough of Lesnar and Heyman’s continued gloating of breaking the Taker’s streak.

As one would expect, mayhem could possibly break out on WWE RAW and so it did.

Taking into consideration how the Undertaker stared down Lesnar, the Dead Man isn’t happy. If the carnage during that night was any indication, it looks like their coming match at WWE SummerSlam will be one gruelling and punishing match.

With that set, it takes Lesnar out of the WWE title picture for the meantime as he duels with the Undertaker.

So who will Seth Rollins face next? If that confrontation at WWE RAW (July 20, 2015) is to be an indication, it could be possible that current United States Champion John Cena will be facing off against Rollins. Could it happen at WWE SummerSlam?
