Will we see a "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" cast member on the dance floor soon?

The rumor mill churned reports that "Dancing With The Stars" producers want Caitlyn Jenner on the show, as well as Khloe Kardashian.

"If they're unable to snag the former Olympian, they are willing to outsource elsewhere in the Kardashian/Jenner clan- particularly, they would love Khloe Kardashian," Hollywood Life said in an exclusive report.

"The producers would gladly take Khloe but they don't anticipate ever getting a real chance with her," an insider told the entertainment news source. "They still would love Caitlyn over anyone in their family but that is still at a standstill."

However, Jenner's own publicist has already made it known that the transgender public figure won't be appearing on the show anytime soon.

"There is not nor have there ever been any negotiations on this matter,"the publicist informed Entertainment Tonight. "They inquired if she was interested in participating in the show and I said no thank you. That is the extent of the communication."

This bit of news may be a let-down for some who are rooting for Jenner to appear on DWTS. Pro dancer Cheryl Burke had previously said that Jenner would be "amazing" on the show.

"Caitlyn and Tony Dovolani would look great together," she told ET in another report. "Or actually, Caitlyn and Val [Chmerkovskiy]."

Meanwhile, Chmerkovskiy had expressed his willingness to be Jenner's partner "for sure."

"I've proven I can win the show, and I would love to have an opportunity to win it with someone that nobody else believes can do it," he was quoted by OK Magazine as saying. The six-foot-tall pro dancer also added he won't be worried about their height difference. Jenner is six foot two.

"As long as you have the right energy, I am in it to win it," he confirmed.

Chmerkovskiy is not the only pro dancer interested in pairing up with Jenner. Derek Hough, who has won the mirror ball trophy five times already, said that he would be willing to return to DWTS to dance with Jenner.

"I'm up for any sort of challenge," Hough revealed to ET in another interview. "One thing I pride 'Dancing With the Stars' on is taking chances, and doing things that are a little out of the box, doing things that are inspiring and brave. For me I say, 'Why not? Absolutely.'"

Will DWTS producers continue to woo Jenner for the show? Will Kim Kardashian's younger sibling take on the challenge in her stead? Nothing has been confirmed where Khloe is concerned, so keep checking this space for updates!
