"Mass Effect 4," aka "Mass Effect Andromeda," is one of the most anticipated games that has recently been announced and gamers can get hyped as new details about the game has been unveiled.

When "Mass Effect Andromeda" was showcased at E3 2015, fans were astounded to see what BioWare has planned for the next entry in the "Mass Effect" franchise. And BioWare did not disappoint as a bunch of new details for the game was revealed to the fans.

According to Eurogamer, the story of "Mass Effect Andromeda" would follow the story set forth by the "Mass Effect" trilogy but notes that BioWare has confirmed that "Mass Effect Andromeda's" story would not be direct continuation of the Commander Shephard story. It has also been confirmed by BioWare that races introduced in the "Mass Effect" trilogy would be featured in the game as the trailer for the game showcased Krogans and Humans.

The report by Eurogamer also revealed that "Mass Effect Andromeda" would allegedly have two more races that are set to be introduced in the game, namely the Khet and an ancient race called the remnants.

It further states that the Khet are described as an "'arrogant', skeletal race with glowing eyes," while the remnants are described as an "'ancient, advanced guardian' race with a sci-fi golem-like look."

Eurogamer also reported that BioWare has confirmed that vehicular exploration will return in "Mass Effect 4" and that it would be a significantly improved experience compared to its first iteration in the first "Mass Effect" game.

BioWare also stated that the gameplay of "Mass Effect Andromeda" would still be largely similar to the gameplay set forth in "Mass Effect 2" and "Mass Effect 3". Aside from having a new jetpack to make jumps with, "Mass Effect Andromeda" would still have small guns and the omni-tool as well as same-sex romances.

Meanwhile, Venture Capital Post reports that the protagonist of "Mass Effect Andromeda" would indeed be human, squashing rumors that players would have their choice as to what race their main character would be.

It should be noted that BioWare is making 2015 to be the year they focus on "Mass Effect Andromeda" and that players can expect new details about "Mass Effect Andromeda" in the following weeks and months. It can be expected that BioWare may unveil a cinematic and gameplay trailer for "Mass Effect Andromeda" on the Video Game Awards in December.

The "Mass Effect Andromeda" release date has been set for Holiday 2016 and it would be for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
