Good news for "Final Fantasy" fans as it has been confirmed that "Final Fantasy XV" would make an appearance at Gamescon this August!
According to Khurram Imtiaz of Gear Nuke, "Final Fantasy XV" game director, Hajime Tabata confirmed that Square Enix is planning to give "Final Fantasy XV a major presence at Gamescom.
After the lack of information from Square Enix regarding "Final Fantasy XV" during E3 2015, fans should stay tuned to new details that would be unveiled at Gamescom 2015 as the report notes that the full on marketing campaign for "Final Fantasy XV" would start at the event and it would lead to huge reveal on the Tokyo Game Show.
Meanwhile, some more "Final Fantasy XV" release details may have been leaked online as reports state that a PC version of the game is coming.
According to a report by Arash Fehkri of Master Herald, a gameplay leak of the "Final Fantasy XV" PC version was allegedly leaked online.
As noted by Fehkri, the reason why Square Enix could not peg down a specific "Final Fantasy XV" release date was due to the fact that they are allegedly working on the PC version of the game.
The report states that Square Enix has been allegedly working on the "Final Fantasy XV" PC version for a long time now but notes that due to the soon to be released Windows 10, it has forced Square Enix to modify the code of the game to be much more compatible to Windows 10 and Direct X 12.
According to Fekhri, Square Enix has made some progress on the Windows 10 version of "Final Fantasy XV" as the alleged demo of the game was reportedly shown being run on a Windows 10 machine. The alleged "Final Fantasy XV" PC version demo is reportedly called "Final Fantasy XV Witch - Chapter 0."
While the official "Final Fantasy XV" release date has not been set yet by Square Enix, it has been claimed that it would be released by this year however it is unlikely that it would be released this year but it can be expected that Gamescom 2015 or the Tokyo Game Show 2015 would be home to the "Final Fantasy XV" release date announcement.
Those with PS4's can now play the demo of "Final Fantasy XV" called "Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae" just by buying "Final Fantasy Type 0" and using the "FFXV" download code to download the game on PSN.
