"Marvel and Fox are in the process of making up!!! They are currently bringing a movie to us by 2020. The movie would feature the Avengers and X-Men," says their source.
Fans on the comment section of the post wondered if the X-Men and Avengers movie team up would be announced at this year's SDCC.
The report notes that the deal between Fox and Marvel would not be finalized in time for SDCC 2015 but an announcement at SDCC 2016 is very likely.
Meanwhile, both Marvel and Fox are busy promoting their new films "Fantastic Four" and "Ant-Man" respectively.
20th Century Fox has recently released a new teaser for their upcoming superhero film, "Fantastic Four" and this latest TV spot features new footage of Doctor Doom.
As seen in the video, this teaser shows a bit of humor unlike the serious tone raised by previous teasers. The teaser once again introduces the "Fantastic Four" featuring Michael B. Jordan as The Human Torch/Johnny Storm, Kate Mara as The Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, Miles Teller as Mister Fantastic/Reed Richards, and Jamie Bell as The Thing/Ben Grimm. The teaser also gives us an excellent look at Toby Kebbell as Doctor Doom.
Meanwhile, Marvel released a new clip of their upcoming film, "Ant-Man".
As seen in the new video, Paul Rudd's Scott Lang and his team of accomplices are shown trying to pull off a heist. Lang breaks into a safe guarding some valuable contents. Lang notes that the heist is a bust as it is shown that he is being monitored by an ant.
Marvel's "Ant-Man" hits theatres on July 17, 2015 while Fox's "Fantastic Four" would hit theatres on August 7, 2015.
