Fans of "Agent Carter" get hyped because a bunch of new details about the season 2 of the show has been unveiled along with the first poster for the upcoming season.
According to Becky Fuller of Screen Rant, the makers of "Agent Carter" along with the cast and crew would appear at SDCC 2015 and it should be expected that they would unveil a bunch of new details about the upcoming season that haven't been revealed before.
Entertainment Weekly reports that "Agent Carter" Season 2 would focus on Hayley Atwell's character, Peggy, and her exploits in California.
"Agent Carter" Executive Producer Michele Fazekas explains that the show's setting being moved to California would be a good way to keep things fresh within the show.
"In Los Angeles, you have the spectacular wealth, glamour and beauty right next to the grit and crime-often right up against each other. We're very much being inspired by Noir films," notes Fazekas.
A bunch of new details regarding Peggy's and Jarvis' character dynamic has been revealed as well and how their dynamic would continue following the end of their case during season one.
"We have a nice organic way to infuse Jarvis,That was always the challenge. He's not an agent. The case for the first season is over, so the biggest question for us this season was: We love Peggy and Jarvis together, that's a really important relationship, how do we keep them together? LA has provided us a really nice, organic way to do so," said Fazekas.
Finally, some characters may soon join Peggy in her adventures in Los Angeles as Entertainment Weekly notes that Chad Michael Murray, Lyndsy Fonseca and Bridget Regan could join the cast of "Agent Carter" season 2.
Marvel has recently unveiled the official synopsis for "Agent Carter" season 2:
"Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home - and perhaps even a new love - she's about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect."
As was noted by Screen Rant, Season 2 of "Agent Carter" would air on 2016 during the mid-season break of "Agents of SHIELD" Season 3.
