Warner Bros and Rocksteady have finally broken their silence about the new "Batman Arkham Knight" PC release date as they have teased some new details about when the game would be re-launched on PC.

The release of "Batman Arkham Knight" on PC was widely regarded as one of the most disastrous game launches on the PC platform and PC gamers have been vocal enough to point that Warner Bros and Rocksteady have pulled the game from being sold online.

According to the post of Warner Bros VP of Development, Gary Lake-Schaal, on the official Steam page for "Batman Arkham Knight", it can now be confirmed that the new "Batman Arkham Knight" PC release date would take longer than expected as Warner Bros and Rocksteady themselves are teaming up to fix the PC version of "Batman Arkham Knight".

"Rocksteady is leading our team of developers and partners as we work on the PC performance issues that players have been encountering. The work is significant and while we are making good progress on improving performance, it will take some time to ensure that we get the right fixes in place," wrote Lake-Schaal.

Lake-Schaal gave a list as to what Warner Bros and Rocksteady are trying to improve before they announce the new "Batman Arkham Knight" PC release date.

Meanwhile, current owners of "Batman Arkham Knight" have been treated with the first PC patch for the game and it fixes some of the glitches that plagued the game.

According to TechRadar the first PC patch "Batman Arkham Knight" fixes some of the glitches and crashes that happens in the game while adding a bunch of new graphical features that were available on the console version of the game but not on the PC version of the game.

"'Batman: Arkham Knight's' first PC patch has already arrived, and is said to fix crashes that occur when exiting the game or switching off motion blur, a bug that disabled rain effects and ambient occlusion, and an issue which caused Steam to re-download the game when verifying the integrity of the game cache through the Steam client," wrote TechRadar.
