Ever since the second teaser trailer released two months ago, fans have been searching all over the web for any news they can get their hands on to and any leaked photos. The "force" has truly woken up Star Wars fans from all over planet internet.
With seven movies, two animated television series, and a handful of video games and books, "Star Wars" is a common title for both the young and the old. It comes to no surprise that the fans would formulate a few speculation regarding "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens'" plot.
One plot speculation of "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" is that the new Sith Lord is Darth Revan from the popular Role Playing Game (RPG) "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" for the Xbox console. The Sith Lord was considered due to some similarities of his helmet. MoviePilot refuted the reports, claiming that Darth Revan was not even alive during the movie's time line and the fact that their lightsabers look nothing alike.
Another juicy piece of information is the rumour that Ewan Mcgregor will play the iconic role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in a standalone spinoff movie."I'd be happy to do the story from episodes three where I finish up and Alec Guinness [who played the older Kenobi in the original Star Wars movies] starts," claims Mcgregor.
When the trailer showed Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), minds were blown. It's always a great feeling for fans to see a familiar and favourite character's return. Luke Skywalker is still portrayed by Mark Hamill while Carrie Fisher still plays Princess Leia.
Rumours claim that Ford's character may actually outweigh Mark Hamill's iconic Jedi. Luke Skywalker is said to only appear for a short time while Han is related to the orphaned scavenger Rey from the planet Jakku, and he could even be her real father.
Less than six months until the movie shows, yet information on the movie itself is still blurry. It's a known fact that a lot of the original characters are returning. The Empire is still hunting rebels and Jedi (as far as the teasers go). As for the origins of the new Sith and the two new protagonists, all the fans can do is speculate. Hopefully, Disney would release a third teaser or fans will just have to wait for the official movie trailer.
"Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" opens this 18th of December, 2015.
