Yes, it's summer! We know that most of us would like to travel, have fun outdoors, and experience that stress-free summer getaway with family and friends. With that in mind, we prepare five amazing travel hacks to help you out. These awesome tips and tricks could make you say, "I wish I'd known about these sooner!"
Booking flight and accommodation hacks
We all want cheap flights and hotels, don't we? Flexibility in doing some legwork as well as the next few tricks is a key to grab these great deals.
1. Keep your searches a top secret. Since this may seem an 'AHA' to most of you, always remember to look for flights and hotels in incognito or private browsing mode to see the lowest prices. This way, cookies are not stored and your searches remain undetected. Some travel sites and airlines track your time on the website and monitor your search history. If they see that you are a repeat visitor, they hike the prices. Unbelievable, but yeah this amazing tip work for us and hopefully, it will do the magic to you, too. (Note: Success rate - very low)
2. Know the best time to book reservations and buy tickets. Usually, it should be within the 6-8 week period before the desired departure date, but of course, except to those flash seat sales and hotel promos. Most of the time, it's best to book and buy on Wednesday or Thursday, same thing with traveling on mid-week when rates aren't really that high.
3. Unleash Wifi passwords. To save bucks on some very expensive internet access in most hotels and cafeterias, here's the wicked trick (Ouch!). This again may seem unbelievable but it does really work. You can actually get some Wifi passwords of most places by simply peeking at the comments section on FourSquare. Some people were kind enough to randomly post Wifi passwords in the comment boxes. Unless the management of those hubs have discovered it and eventually changed the password, you get ridiculously free, unlimited internet access.

Save enough space on your luggage and practice these amazing smart packing tips. Don't fold up your clothes, roll them instead! This gives you the luxury of easy stacking and clever packing. You'll be surprised on how much space you'd save by this simple trick.
For tees, shirts, and tops, you normally fold the body in half, vertically. Fold in the sleeves and then roll tight. For trousers and jeans, you have to fold in half and then roll tight. Very simple yet can give you such fairly organized bags and suitcases.
DIY travel hacks
Fill fancy soda straws with skin care products (powder, cream, etc.). Use the empty lip gloss or lipstick to keep your valuables (pair of earrings, necklaces, and even dollar bills). Your handy 7-day medicine pill storage box can also do this disguise knack.
Girls, don't fret. You can protect your make-up buddies from damage by setting cotton pads on your pressed powder, eye shadow, and blush kits. Moisturizers and liquid make-ups like BB cream and concealer can be kept on your old contact lens cases.
Old sunglass cases can be used to put your chargers and earphones in place, safe and tidy. Razors may really be dodgy if just plop inside the travel pouch. Keep your fingers safe by using a metal clip to give your razors some good snatch.
Traveling can really be so much fun. Now, plan that much-awaited summer getaway, do these tricks, and see how stress-free your trip could be. Bon Voyage!
