After 2014's "Saved by the Bell" and the coming movie of "Full House", Lifetime is also bringing back our favorite gang from the 90s - with "The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story", according to The Wrap.

The remake will focus on the the life of actors Luke Perry, Jennie Garth, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling, Shannen Doherty and producers, both off and on set. The movie will also feature the show's controversial ups and down and from an almost cancellation, how it gained popularity and became a pop culture phenomenon.

Created by Darren Star, E. Duke Vincent and Aaron Spelling, "Beverly Hills, 90210" ruled the television landscape in the 90s, EW notes. It lasted for 10 seasons and was such a big success that it helped launch the FOX network to fame.

In addition, the show also transformed its cast members into A-list celebrities, even though they left the series after its fourth season after it was rumored that there were tensions off cam.

The show also had spinoffs like "Melrose Place" and a remake series on CW titled "90210." Doherty and Garth reprised their roles in the remake, but the show was cancelled after 5 seasons. "The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story", however, will not feature the original cast members but will have new actors to represent them.

The movie will be directed by "PopFan"'s Vanessa Parise, Howard Braunstein of "The Informant" and Peter M. Green of "Mean Girls 2" will executively produce it. Christian Bruyere of "Lucky in Love" is in as producer and "Love Liza"'s Jeff Roda will pen the script. There is no confirmed release date for the movie yet.

Since last year, Lifetime has been reviving hit television shows from the '90s. Although "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" only drew 1.2 million viewers last year, it still created a big buzz online and among cable watchers.
