The Wii U is launching with a great deal of first party support, but no company has shown more commitment to Nintendo's new console than Ubisoft. Aside from producing numerous hard core titles for the launch, they are also looking to make games for the more casual fans. One such title is ESPN Sports Connection, a sports game similar to Nintendo's own Wii Sports that hopes to bring family and friends together in simplified sports matches.
Among the sports available for gamers are soccer, football, baseball, tennis, golf, and karting. The title offers a diverse range of gaming controls as players will be able to use the GamePad, the Wiimotion Plus for a wide range of activities.
With the Gamepad, players will be able to aim at the screen to track a flying baseball in order to catch it. Thy can also use the LCD screen on the GamePad to choose where to direct a football pass. With the Wiimote, players can slug a golf club with realistic motion and speed. They can do the same with a baseball bat. In Kart racing players can up to five players can compete: four with split screen off the TV and one using the LCD scree on the Gamepad.
The title will be available on the 13th of November, 5 days prior to the Wii U's launch.
