Aside from being hailed as the biggest Apple tablet, the rumored iPad Pro is also said to get new exciting features.

One of those being eyed is the split screen feature which allows users to use applications simultaneously. Value Walk said the feature has already been confirmed to be in the new device. It is quite similar to Windows Snap Screen function found in the Windows 8 and Xbox One console. However, it admitted that it is unsure whether it would also be in other future Apple products.

9to5mac has revealed that Apple initially planned to introduce the feature along the iOS 8 last year but it was delayed because it was "too unpolished for public consumption." Then it was planned to be partnered with the iOS 8.1 but it never happened again since Apple had its focus on the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch.

Now, 9to5mac's sources are saying that it might be shown at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference this June with the new iOS 9. The news outlet however warned that it is not yet final and that things could still change.

"The latest plans suggest that the split-screen mode will support 1/2, 1/3, and 2/3 views depending on the apps. When split, the screen can either display two different apps side-by-side, or multiple views of the same app. This would enable iPad users to see two separate Safari tabs, or compare a pair of Pages documents at the same time," 9to5mac said.

Aside from the split screen viewing, the new tablet is also expected to get the new Force Touch feature, which we have detailed in our previous report. 9to5mac is also saying that the new tablet would have a multi-user login support. 9to5mac has also revealed that the iPad Pro is currently under the code names J98 and J99, probably signifying the Wi-Fi only and WiFi + Cellular variants of the tablet.

On Leaks has previously revealed that the new iPad Pro would have a 12.9 inches screen and the following dimensions: 223 mm x 306 mm x 7.2 mm. It is expected to have a triple-core A8X processor, 2 GB of RAM, and Touch ID. As usual, it is expected to be available in silver, gold, and space gray color options. In one of our previous reports, we also revealed that the tablet might also contain two new special materials -- AgNW or silver nano wire and sapphire glass.

Apple has not yet confirmed any of these rumors.
