For those who haven't heard, Apple revealed a smaller iPad Mini earlier this week that has buyers in a frenzy. While reviewers don't seem too impressed, consumers seem to be responding well, with initial pre-orders selling out pretty fast. For those who ordered the iPad Mini LTE version, it looks like you will receive yours on November 21 or November 23, according to a report from 9to5Mac.
Buyers who chose expedited shipping can expect it on November 21, while those who chose the standard shipping should be getting theirs on November 23. The dates come from a 9to5Mac report in which those who purchased the LTE iPad Mini revealed their ship dates. November 23 is also Black Friday.
The online Apple store merely lists the ship date of the iPad Mini LTE as "Mid November."
The iPad Mini LTE costs $459 for the 16GB model, $559 for the 32GB version, and $659 if you opt for 64GB of storage. You can choose between carriers AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon for your wireless service provider.
For those interested in the Wi-Fi-only model, the online Apple store lists a ship date of November 2.
The 16GB Wi-Fi-only iPad Mini costs $329, with the 32GB and 64GB models costing $429 and $529 respectively.
The iPad Mini comes with a 7.9-inch LED-backlit Multi-Touch display that puts out a resolution of 1024X768. The iPad Mini also features a dual-core A5 processor, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. The iPad Mini will be running Apple's newest mobile operating system, iOS 6, upon its release.
The iPad Mini isn't the most technically advanced tablet, but access to the robust Apple App store, the higher price tag (than fellow 7-inch tablets like the Google Nexus 7) seems to be justifiable to many consumers given the current demand.
