Samsung has confirmed that a successor to its Galaxy Tab S is indeed gonna come out soon, according to the latest report from Sam Mobile.

This is how the news outlet was able to confirm the new tablet's existence: "through the official changelog of the Hancom Office Hshow 2014 app, which is used to open Microsoft Office files and PDFs. It ships with Samsung's Galaxy smartphones and tablets out-of-the-box. The changelog claims that the newest version of the app now supports the Galaxy Tab S2 along with the Galaxy Tab A, thereby confirming the existence of the yet unreleased Galaxy Tab S2."

Based on Sam Mobile's previous report, the new high-end tablet called Galaxy Tab S2 would be arriving in the US, Canada, European markets, China, Latin America, Hong Kong, Korea, and India. Official announcement of the device will allegedly took place in June.

The new tablet is said to be available in four variants - Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, Wi-Fi + LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab S2 and Wi-Fi + LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0.

It said to be the thinnest tablet the Korean giant has ever produced, Sam Mobile noted citing On Leaks.

On Leaks has revealed that the Galaxy Tab S2′s dimensions will be at 237.17 x 169.58 x 5.5 mm. Sam Mobile's earlier prediction was at 237.1×168.8×5.4 mm. The tablet's design is reportedly inspired by the new Galaxy S6.

In our previous report, we said that the Galaxy Tab S2 would be available on two sizes -- an 8-inch one and the other 9.7-inch, smaller that the current Galaxy Tab S sizes -- 8.4-inches and 10.5-inches.

Phone Arena said the new tablet would have a Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536. It also said that the new tablet would probably have an aspect ratio of 4:3. Plus, it will also get Exynos 5433 CPU. Its RAM would be at 3 GB. As for the camera, the tablets would probably get an 8 megapixel main camera and a 2.1 megapixel selfie shooter. It will also get a 3850 mAh battery. As for the software, it is said that it will likely get an Android 5.0.2 installed.
