Good news to all selfie lovers! It looks like that Samsung has some big plans for you.
A recent report from Sam Mobile has revealed new details about the two new rumored Samsung handsets -- the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy Note 5 Edge. But for this report, let's start with the Edge variant.
Citing an unidentified source, Sam Mobile reported that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Edge, dubbed as the "Project Zen," would boast of its new 8 megapixel front camera. This is aside from its 16 megapixel main camera which is also expected to be great.
As the name puts it, the Galaxy Note 5 Edge would be the curved version of the rumored Galaxy Note 5. But not just an ordinary curved version. It would be a dual-edge curved device! According to the source, the new device would have either have a 5.4-inch or a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display.
For the processors, the new handset is said to get a "hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor." Though the news outlet noted that the Note 5 might get an Exynos 7422 processor or an Exynos 7430. For the storage, Sam Mobile's source says it would probably be 16 GB.
While Sam Mobile looks confident on its source, it cautioned readers that the details revealed might still change on the course of the device's development. "You should to keep in mind that development on these devices is in an early stage and a lot of aspects can change before their official launch," it said.
Sam Mobile's source has revealed that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will either have a 2K or a 4K flat-screen Super AMOLED display. The Korean giant reportedly remains undecided on the matter.
Rumors about the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 came out following Sam Mobile's earlier exclusive report speculating on two new Samsung devices -- one with a model number SM-G928S and another with model number SM-N920F.
However, in its previous report it referred to the SM-G928S as a new Galaxy S6 variant.
"It appears that the SM-G928S is a new variant of the Galaxy S6 as the model number makes it clear that's a derivative of an existing model rather than a new model altogether, model numbers reveal that the new variant will at least make its way to South Korea, the US and certain markets in Europe. On the other hand the SM-N920F is likely the Galaxy Note 5, since the Galaxy Note 4 carried model number SM-N910x. Our sources have informed us that internally the new Galaxy S6 variant is being referred to as Project Zen, while the next-generation Galaxy Note handset is known as Project Noble," its earlier report said.
