It's been a long while since Rockstar has released anything substantial about the upcoming blockbuster video game Grand Theft Auto 5. Rockstar seems to have stepped up its announcements recently, however, and now they've promised that more information about the next Grand Theft Auto is coming in November.

In a post revealing the first official artwork release of Grand Theft Auto 5 Rockstar wrote, "Lots of info coming next month. Get ready."

Not much to go on, but this will mean that the next couple months will tell us more about Grand Theft Auto 5 than ever before.

Editor-In-Chief of Game Informer magazine Andy McNamara was given an exclusive hands-on demo of Grand Theft Auto 5 at Rockstar's New York headquarters. McNamara also promised the game would grace the cover of Game Informer's December issue.

"In NYC, about to check out December's cover game #GTAV," he tweeted.

Of course the one detail that fans are clamoring for the most is the release date. As of now, most reports and estimates are pointing toward an early 2013 release date around March.

"With GTA, I honestly think the Rockstar guys could bring it out before Christmas if they wanted to and they could announce next week that it's coming out December 9, and then the Game Informer cover would get a lot of publicity, but my guess is that it's coming out March. That's probably an accurate release date and that gives them four full months to promote it," said analyst Michael Patcher in an interview to NowGamer

Grand Theft Auto 5 will take place in the fictional city of Los Santos that is modeled after Los Angeles. The map area is said to be the biggest yet, and Grand Theft Auto 5 will mark the return of planes.

Multiplayer will also be bigger this time around, with Rockstar even recently asking fans for suggestions. If you'd like to have your voice heard, email Rockstar at GTAVCrewFeedback@rockstargames.com.
