Rumors are circulating that Sony would be releasing Compact and Ultra versions for its newest Xperia Z4. Android Pit which cited a Taiwanese website called Sogi said that the two new devices have allegedly appeared in an Indonesian telecom certification list.
"All we have is the model numbers, but it seems like a good fit. The Xperia Z3 compact model number comes from the D5800 series, and the Xperia Z Ultra from the C6800 series. It seems reasonable to believe that the E5803 device from the list is a successor to the D5803 Xperia Z3 Compact, and the E6683 could be a follow up to the C6683 Xperia Z Ultra," Android Pit detailed.

As regards the specs of the Compact and Ultra variants, no confirmed details have surfaced yet.
The Tech community earlier were surprised to see Sony confirming the new Sony Xperia Z4 device, through its Japanese website. As for the specs and features, CNET said the new handset would have a 5.2-inch, full-HD display, with a screen resolution of 1,920x1,080-pixel. It would be slim at 6.9mm. Its bezels are also to be proud of as it It will weigh 144 grams. The phone's measurement is 146mm by 72mm.
Sony's Z series is known for their great 20.7 megapixel cameras, and this new product is no exception. Aside from the 20.7 megapixel main camera, the new Xperia Z4 would get a 5-megapixel front camera, perfect for taking selfies. Xperia Z4 also comes with an IP6X dustproof rating and is IPX5 and IPX8-certified. CNET said this means that "it's not only splash-resistant but can survive being totally submerged in water for an indefinite amount of time." Its USB ports are also said to be waterproof.
The Xperia Z4 is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. Plus, it has a 3GB of RAM and the newest Android 5.0 Lollipop as OS. As for storage, the new device is to boast of its 32GB of memory. Plus, it also has a microSD slot which can take up to 128GB. It will be offered with a 2,930mAh battery. CNET said the new handset will be available in white, black, copper, and aqua green. Its price has yet to be revealed.
Though the Japanese website did not clear whether an international release would happen for the new device, CNET's source said that Sony "is considering the feasibility (of releasing the new device) in other markets."
