Just a few months after Nick Cannon filed a divorce to Mariah Carey, both are spotted together on Easter Sunday while egg-hunting with their twins Moroccan and Monroe, Daily Mail reported.
According to the site, it seems the estranged couple has been amicable even after their separation last year. In Carey's Instagram post captioned, "Happy Easter!!! #ontheegghunt #NYiswild," the photo features the whole family enjoying the occasion where Carey and Cannon are clutching a bucket of goodies with their twins alongside with them.
Nick Cannon on the other hand seemed to have enjoyed bonding with his kids where he regrammed Carey's Instagram post and personally captioned the photo, "Best Easter Sunday @BronxZoo Roc & Roe had a blast finding eggs all over the Zoo! #FestiveFamily #HappyEaster."
Also, the night before Easter, Mariah posted about making Easter Cupcakes in preparation for the next day. She captioned the photo "Making Easter cupcakes!" shown on her Instagram account.
It is refreshing to see that despite the separation, the two has decided to be in good terms for their kids. In an interview with the America's Got Talent host, Cannon told Us Weekly that "he feels their children will still have a great childhood."
It was reported that Carey and Cannon have been battling about money and children custody for months since their divorce was filed. Apparently, Carey slammed her ex-husband's demand of a $30M divorce settlement where it resulted to Cannon writing a tell-all book about his marriage to the singer, the Daily Mail added.
An insider also told Daily Mail that, "Nick will tell the world about Mariah's drug use, her strange eating habits, psychosis, what she has said about other artists, her sexual proclivities and her parenting skills."
According to some reports, one of the reasons for the breakup might be Carey's suspicion that Cannon is allegedly cheating on her which led her to hire security to keep watch over him d during his club shows, Huffington Post revealed.
Meanwhile, despite of the ex-couple's divorce battle, Carey has reportedly been very busy with work commitments. First off, she is moving forward with her new commitment with Epic Records. The hit maker also announced her Las Vegas Concert residency in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres last month, Pop Sugar reported.
