English actor Simon Pegg who plays the role of Benji Dunn in the "Mission Impossible" movie has revealed that the fifth installment will be "amazing" and "awesome."
"It's going to be amazing. We had a great shoot. It was a lot of fun, some cool locations, and some great action," Pegg was quoted as saying by Irish Examiner.
"As Benji, I get to do a little bit more this time in terms of being an agent. He's grown with every film I've been in. He's become more and more capable. I think people are going to love it... It's really fun because we know each other. You can pick up where you left off," he added.
The actor also commended lead actor Tom Cruise who plays Ethan Hunt. "He, Tom, is a very fun guy to work with, Rebecca Ferguson - our new leading lady - is amazing, and getting people like Alec Baldwin and Jeremy Renner was fun. It's awesome," Pegg was again quoted by Irish Examiner saying.
"Tom Cruise doesn't rest on his laurels. He really brought it this time - and it really is him who's on the side of the plane as it's flying off. It's quite ridiculous."
On March 21, Pegg took to Twitter to announced that he is indeed reprising his role. "Benji's going back to work. #MissionImpossible SH."
Director Christopher McQuarrie also tweeted about the upcoming film, saying, "The team is back. @Renner4Real @TomCruise @simonpegg #VingRhames #MI5Diary."
The release date of the upcoming "Mission Impossible" movie is slated for July. It was earlier scheduled for a Christmas Day release but was moved since it does not want to compete with the upcoming "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" movie which is set for December 18. Screen Rant also reported that other movies such as "Warcraft" and "Kung Fu Panda 3"which are scheduled for December have also moved their screening dates.
Despite this, it was reported by The Hollywood Reporter that the filming of the movie in London was stopped to make some revisions in the finale. The report said that director Christopher McQuarrie was "scrambling to come up with an ending that would work." Aside from Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg, the cast list also includes Alec Baldwin, Jeremy Renner, Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris, and Ving Rhames.
