WrestleMania, the biggest event in WWE, commenced on March 29 featuring Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns in the main event, writes Bleacher Report. The match between the two has long been anticipated among WWE fans.

USA Today reported that Daniel Bryan won the Intercontinental Title Match. The ladder match opened the show, featuring seven WWE Superstars. Stardust was superplexed from the top of the tallest ladder, while Dean Ambrose was powerbombed by Luke Harper through a ladder. After all other wrestlers were taken out, only Bryan and Dolph Ziggler were left. The two men exchanged blows as they scaled the ladder. Bryan finished off Ziggler via a headbutt and seized the Intercontinental Title belt.

IGN reported that in the Fatal 4-Way Title Match, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd emerged victorious amidst the chaos brought by the Usos, Natalya, Naomi and Torito.

The Big Show was the winner at the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Miz and Mizdow eliminated Alex Riley while Bo Dallas eliminated himself. Big Show got rid of Hitami while Cesaro eliminated Kane. Mizdow refused to help Miz eliminate Big Show and got rid of Miz instead. Many fans found the Battle Royal more amusing than Royal Rumble, which opened new angles and establishing new rivalries in the process.

Based on the same report by IGN, Randy Orton won against Seth Rollins, although the latter would not end up too devastated in the end.

The much-awaited battle between veterans Triple H and Sting also happened at WrestleMania 31, with Triple H winning. DX came out to rescue Triple H from the Scorpion Deathlock. The NWO also emerged, wreaking more havoc which the audience loved. At one point, Sting's bat destroyed Triple H's sledgehammer. In the end, WWE won over WCW. Sting's defeat may also spell his retirement.

In other matches, AJ Lee and Paige won over The Bella Twins. John Cena won over Rusev, but a lot of Cena-haters were still present in the crowd. The Undertaker won over Bray Wyatt.

USA Today also wrote that The Rock and UFC women's champ Ronda Rousey also made a special appearance at Levi's Stadium. The Rock beat Triple H with several punches before Rousey showcased her judo skills and thrashed him on the mat to the delight of the crowd.

In the main event, Brock Lesnar dominated at first but later on bled and suffered from three superman punches and a couple of spears. Seth Rollins, who held the "Money in the Bank" briefcase, joined before the match was done. He curb stomped both Lesnar and Reigns to cause a major upset, emerging as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
