More than two weeks after "GTA Online Heists" was launched, fans continue to discover surprising bits in the game. The most recent one is the characters that previously were hidden in ght DLC version. Once more, the ever active GTA gamer YouTuber DomisLive was the one who revealed this addition.
"He said that there could be more than one leader in the heists and that the player could choose who they wanted to be the leader," AutooMobile said.
The site also said that some of the characters that could be seen during the cut scenes were Michelle, Chef, and Trevor.
"We already know that Trevor is the protagonist and it was said that he may be in the cut scenes or could be played as a character," the site continued. "There was also Eddie Toh who can be played in the single missions as a character. The information on Michelle is sparse right now other than she is the girlfriend of Niko Bellic and also an FIB member. We don't know much about Chef and Lester is going to be a character in the GTA 5 Online Heists."
Previously, gamers were introduced to new "Heists" character Agent 14, who is also known as "The Planner." He, as Gameranx noted, has "a particularly interesting personality" and mainly "tasks players with working on a project together with Niko Bellic's ex-girlfriend: Karen."
As the weeks wear on, it won't be surprising to hear yet another new tidbit about "Heists." By the way, how is your "GTA Online Heists" gaming experience so far?
A review by Kotaku's Kirk Hamilton noted that, like GTA, "Heists" allows users to do a myriad of things and even gives room for improvisation. Also, the co-op aspect of the missions feels very real as you win or lose as a team. Plus, the game makes you feel like an action star.
"The slow-burn music, the voice coming over the radio in your ear, the long setups and exciting finales... at their best, heists make you feel like you and your friends are getting to act out an awesome action sequence in a big dumb blockbuster movie," Hamilton said.
However, he also noted that things take too long to move along, getting players to go into free-roam mode during a heist or even put up with the agonizing loading screen time that takes minutes "on end" to complete. Another reviewer, whose commentary on the game was featured in Express, said that connection problems bogged down their gaming experience.
Then there's the fact that the missions can be really "punishing."
"Nothing's worse than having a perfect run, then getting a failure screen for something you couldn't even see happen," he wrote.
Finally, the bugs can really be a bugger.
"Sometimes, GTA Online works perfectly. Other times-often, really-it feels like it's being held together with chewing gum," he complained.
