A woman living in Georgia pleaded guilty last Friday on charges of luring illegal aliens to work as prostitutes to run a brothel.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigation together with the FBI and Cobb County authorities carried out an investigation where they found that Luz  Gutierrez, 56, hired illegal aliens from various states to work as prostitutes and run a brothel in Marietta, GA.

The undocumented immigrants from states such as Alabama, Florida, North Carolina and Massachusetts would travel to Georgia to work for Luz and Epifania Sanchez Delarosa, a second women, who allegedly operates more prostitute houses.

Also, Luz would occasionally recruit prostitutes in Georgia and send them to Alabama to work in other brothels in that state.

In December Gutierrez and Delarosa were indicted for conspiring to draw people to other states to work as prostitutes as well as for encouraging these undocumented immigrants to live illegally in the U.S. They ran three brothels in three Atlanta locations.

Luz's sentencing is scheduled for the second week of July and she could be sentenced to a maximum of five years and fined up to $250,000.

Delarosa's case is still pending.
