The upcoming "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie has an amazing script, Jeremy Irons, who plays the role of Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's valet, revealed.
The news comes from Comic Book which cited La Nazione. "The next Batman has an amazing screenplay...It's a blockbuster written from the heart," Irons allegedly said in reports.
Screen Rant noted that it is not surprising to hear Irons say positive remarks about the upcoming movie directed by Zack Snyder from a story written by Chris Terrio. It even cited the previous statements of Irons' "Batman vs Superman" co-stars Ben Affleck and Jason Momoa who both praised almost everything about the new movie.
Here is what Affleck said when he was asked by The Boston Globe about the upcoming movie: "I can tell you that I'm very excited and it's very exciting. I can tell you that in my entire career, I haven't had so many people come up to me and say how much they're looking forward to the movie. Naturally, that's a lot of pressure, but I love the script, I love the director, I love the studio. I'm very much looking forward to it, but it's two years away so it probably doesn't bear talking about anymore."
Momoa, on the other hand, called Henry Cavill, playing the main role Superman, "a sweetheart" and Affleck, playing Batman, "a badass." The actor set to play as Aqua Man also spoke highly of the movie's director Snyder.
We also reported earlier that Cavill also proudly praised Snyder and the movie itself. In an interview with British news site Daily Mail (via Coming Soon) during the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Tea Party, Cavill said, "It's Zack Snyder, so it's going to be a visual spectacle, and it's cinematic history. We're doing Batman and we're doing Superman and it's all happening at the same time. So fingers crossed it turns out to be as exciting as I think it is."
These statements from the actors themselves not only keep the fans updated on the latest, but they also give them hints and more reasons to wait and watch out for the movie. Nothing is certain at the moment as we haven't even seen a video teaser or even an official synopsis to begin with. But with the cast and with the credits, we can indeed look at it as a movie to look forward to.
Meanwhile, Christian Today reported that we may be able to see the official trailer of the much-awaited movie this May during the release of the "Mad Max: Fury Road." Though it also aired the possibility of the video teaser being shown during the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con this July.
"Batman vs Supeman: Dawn of Justice" is set to hit theaters in March 2016. It also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and many others.
