Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will be back in the upcoming "Toy Story 4" movie.

Earlier, we heard Tom Hanks personally confirm this on BBC's "Breakfast News," as reported by Bleeding Cool. When the veteran actor was asked whether a fourth "Toy Story" movie will come out, Hanks said, "I think there will be yeah. Yeah, yeah. They're working on it now. There you go."

Tim Allen, on the other hand, also somewhat confirmed this, telling the "Tonight Show" that he is actually jealous of Hanks, who voices Woody, because he always has the best lines in the movie series. Whereas Allen, who voices Buzz Lightyear, blurts out lines like "Come on Woody, watch out Woody, Woody, Woody come on Woody," notes Statesmen.

Last week, Disney announced that Josh Cooley will be joining John Lasseter as director of the upcoming movie. "Cooley's career with Pixar began with an internship in the story department, where he worked on 'Cars'. Recently he's worked as Head of Story on 'Inside Out', and directed a short that will be released on the 'Inside Out' Blu-ray," a Disney statement reads.

Cooley, in an interview with Variety, said that being tasked to direct the fourth "Toy Story" is a dream come true.

"To be co-director on 'Toy Story 4' with John, who brought the 'Toy Story' characters to the screen 20 years ago, is a dream come true...When I first saw 'Toy Story' I was amazed by the groundbreaking computer-generated animation. But it was the strong storytelling that kept me coming back. 'Toy Story 4' will continue that tradition and I couldn't be more excited to be a part of it!," he said.

Cooley's co-director, Lasseter, also expressed a similar excitement about the new movie. "We love these characters so much; they are like family to us," he said.

"We don't want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what's gone before. Toy Story 3 ended Woody and Buzz's story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it," the director added.

As for the plot and story details, Pixar president Jim Morris earlier hinted that the new movie installment will be a romantic comedy love story, reported Screen Rant.

"The third movie ended in a beautiful way and completed a trilogy. I think this movie is not part of this trilogy. It is a separate story, which in turn I do not know if will be continued. Never begin a project with that in mind...It is not a continuation of the end of the story of 'Toy Story 3.' Temporarily it is, but it will be a love story. It will be a romantic comedy. It will not put much focus on the interaction between the characters and children. I think it will be a very good movie," Morris was quoted as saying.

"Toy Story 4" hits theaters in June 16, 2017.
