The upcoming "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" game is expected to have a bigger line-up. According to The Bitbag, there would be 80 characters and 7 supporting characters included in the game. Venture Capital Post also has the same numbers and figures. However, other sources like Christian Today and Gaming Bolt said it would be more than these figures.
Plus, it is also speculated that the manga and anime characters would get new looks. Note that other characters from "The Last: Naruto The Movie" are also expected to show up in the new game.
The Bitbag also reported that the new game would be "perfect" for "Naruto" fans. Aside from the many characters it has, it has a "well-written" storyline that is "well connected." Also, its graphics are expected to be superb.
Anime News Network, citing the February issue of V Jump magazine, earlier reported that the new "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" game will have the "largest number of fighters in the series history." New playable characters include Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, and Sasuke.
Bandai Namco Games, meanwhile, also revealed that new gen platforms and a "whopping series of beautifully Anime-rendered fights" would be featured in the new game.
Another feature that The Bitbag said would likely be in the game is the Wire-Fri technique which was used during the fight scenes in the "Matrix" movies. Gaming Bolt says that gameplay will likely not change.
"The games core consists of PvP and PvE conflicts that are set in the Naruto universe with each player taking control of an established character. Combat ensues in the usual format of one on one battles with players inputting button combinations to perform different attacks and special attacks that take the form of the respective Jutsu or abilities of the fighter...
"On top of this, the games internal systems that handle damage calculation have been reworked. It's not yet known how this will affect overall damage output by characters, combos and match length," to quote Gaming Bolt.
"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco, is the sixth of the series. It is a direct sequel to "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3." It is expected to be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this year.
Game Dev Cyberconnect2's president Hiroshi Matsuyama earlier said through a Twitter post that the new game will indeed launch this year. Matsuyama's statement when translated into English states:
"Today, it was officially announced! 'Ultimate Ninja Storm 4'! Appearing on the PS4! Not on the PS3. I have completely developed this as a next-generation title. You can experience the demo over the weekend at Jump Festa 2015, so by all means, please try it out! Can you wait for this amazing experience!?"
