Acer has unveiled a new smartphone which already has the Lollipop update in it and it is the new Liquid Z220.

Aside from being known as Acer's first smartphone to have the Lollipop update, this stylish new phone is perfect for those who love slim phones. This device is really compact as it only has a 4 inches WVGA display. It is also perfect for those who want to keep two SIM cards. It has a 5 megapixel main camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. It is powered by Qualcomm Dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 chip as processor. It has an 8GB internal storage plus 1GB of RAM.

Aside from the Liquid Z220, two new other Acer phones have also been unveiled during the Mobile World Congress. These are the Liquid Jade Z and the Liquid Z520.

Liquid Jade Z

This new device is hailed as the "lightest 5-inch LTE smartphone" currently in the market. It has the Jade design and uses IPS Technology and Zero Air Gap technology to allow users to view and read everything at any angle without any reflection.

"The Liquid Jade Z was created to be an elegant but wallet-friendly smartphone. It boasts a beautiful curved surface and gives the eye an impression of elegance and grace. 7.9 mm slim and weighting only 110 grams, the Liquid Jade Z is comfortable to hold and use even with one hand," the statement read.

The device is also perfect for those who love to take photos as it has a 13 megapixel main camera with F1.8 aperture and a 5 megapixel selfie shooter. Worry less about speed and performance as it has a 4G LTE Cat. 4 capability and a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek processor.

Liquid Z520

This new handset on the other hand boasts of its "voice-activated camera." It has an 8 megapixel main camera that has a LED flash on it. Plus it also has the DTS Studio Sound allowing users to listen to better and louder audio without an external speaker. The device comes with an 8GB internal storage.

Acer said both Liquid Z220 and Liquid Z520 have the Quick Mode with 3 distinct profiles. These are Basic Mode ("for youngsters with fixed call and text functions"), Easy Mode (for "silver surfers with access to quick messages, radio, weather, clock, quick call contacts"), and Standard mode (for the "advance smartphone user familiar with the Android interface").

Liquid Leap+

Acer has also unveiled a new wearable, the Acer Liquid Leap+. "By developing Liquid Leap+, Acer had one thing in mind: user flexibility.
