Although the release date for the much-anticipated "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" has not been revealed yet, we've gotten wind of news about other features in the upcoming game.
Gameranx said that the latest "Naruto" iteration will feature wire-fu, which is the same technique used to create fight scenes in those "Matrix" movies, as well as those in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," where the actors are tied to the ceiling using fine wires and enable them to do various acrobatics "that would not be possible for a normal human," according to TV Tropes.
Could the game get any cooler than that? This is especially if you're a big fan of those high-flying martial arts films.
"There will be select stages where you will be able to run along cliffs and buildings," Gameranx said.
This new information is based on a translation of an issue of Vjump Magazine, which revealed "a unique display which will show your and your opponents speed/gravity."
"This is likely to be a meter of some sort," the site went on to say. "However, something like a gauge, which would indicate when you're running out of energy to climb, is not out of the question."
"For now, it's not clear whether speed and gravity will have separate displays, or will be measured together," Gameranx added.
Plus, you'll also be given the capacity to destroy some areas of the battlefield, and even your opponent's outfit.
The translated page promises gamers an ultimate ninja experience, where one can "stand upon the cliffs and destroy your opponent with your ninja techniques."
Also, it appears users will be tutored by Kakashi himself on "how to move like a real ninja."
What do you think of this special wire-fu feature?
Previously, it has been revealed that "Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will have "the most extensive cast of fighters in the game series including the characters from the fight between Hajirama and Madara and that the game will also recreate the Shinobi World War," as noted by Venture Capital Post.
The site also quoted Senior VP of Sales and Marketing for Bandai Namco Games America Inc., Chris Gilbert, as saying that the fourth iteration of the Naruto game will be the "ultimate realization of the series."
Not hard to believe that, considering that this game will be the last for this series.
Keep an eye for more updates regarding the release of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" this year.
