Taiwanese electronics firm HTC has recently announced that it is unveiling something big. With many people anticipating the next HTC flagship device, many obviously thought the hints point to the rumored One M9. HTC USA recently postd a riddle on Twitter. It said, "Imagine [number] dinosaurs that grew to the size of a [big thing]. Multiply that by [number] and you have what's coming from HTC. #Madlib."
Fans immediately reacted it could definitely be the HTC One M9. For instance, one user named Luca Tognoni answered it saying, "Imagine nine dinosaurs that grew to the size of a monster. Multiply that by One and you have what's coming from HTC. HTC One M9!" But HTC replied to his hunch saying, "Such an interesting story, we wonder what that could mean?"
On Thursday, February 19, HTC again tweeted the same teaser, "Something HUGE is coming from HTC. Imagine [number][big thing] in space. And then [math term] that by [number]. #Madlib."
To excite the fans even more, HTC on Monday, February 23, again posted another teaser. It said, "Rumor has it: BoomSound on the HTC [letter][number] is SO [adverb] powerful that it'll [verb] your [noun] off. [interjection], bro. #madlib."
HTC? A letter? A number? Could this possibly confirm that the new flagship device will be the HTC One M9 indeed? We don't know yet for sure. But note that the current HTC One M7 and One M8 are also known for their awesome BoomSound feature.
Current rumors suggest that the HTC One M9 would boast of a new and faster Wi-Fi performance. It is also believed to get an awesome 20-megapixel camera. It is also believed to get the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, making it really powerful. The new device is also said to get a 32GB of internal storage, alongside a 3 GB of RAM. It also has a microSD card slot. It is also believed to get the BoomSound feature, the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update and its very own Sense 7.0 as user interface.
While many news outlets took the riddles as hints to the upcoming flagship device, Android Origin thinks differently. It revealed that the riddles could actually pertain to the HTC One Max 2. The news site even lauded HTC for its "interesting little marketing gimmick." Android Origin said the next HTC One Max device is believed to have a 5.2-inch display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. If Android Origin's prediction is true, then it is likely that we'll be able to see the HTC One Max 2 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this March.
Meanwhile, an earlier report from Business Insider said the rumored HTC One Max 2 or the Hima Ace Plus will probably have a 5.5-inch screen with a 2560 x 1440 display resolution. The news outlet also speculated that the new device would be bezel-free and would have an amazing 20-megapixel camera. It is also said to come out with a fingerprint scanner.
