Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale will no doubt be a major success for the Playstation 3. After all, who does not want to see major mascots duel it out in a massive party atmosphere?

However, unlike Nintendo's diverse list of mascots, Sony's has been developed by a number of different developers over the course of two decades. For those unfamiliar with the characters, Latinos Post will do in-depth analysis of each character, their histories, their move sets, and their Super attacks.

One of the most anticipated upcoming games on the market is Metal Gear Solid Reveangeance. The title was recently previewed at the EG Expo 2012 earlier this week by The Gaming Vault who noted that the game is far different from past Metal Gear Solid title.

"A third-person hack and slasher with a design on fast and furious viscera, Reveangeance is about as different from Metal Gear Solid as you're ever going to get," said the publication.

The game's new direction could be attributed to the change in main character as the samurai-like Raiden takes over for the soldier-like Solid Snake. While Snake was included in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Raiden will represent the series on Sony's brawler.

Raiden's basic moves on the square while his heavier attacks on the triangle button. The circle button is reserved for Raiden's parry attacks. His slashes cover a ot of ground and give the character some solid range. According to Siliconera, utilizing the triangles consistently allows players to unlock Raiden's super more readily.

The Level 1 Super has Raiden release blades in his feet which he can use to kill anyone on either side of him. Though the attack has solid speed, it lacks range. His Level 2 super is the Zan-Datsu attack which slows everyone around him down and allows him to defeat multiple enemies around him. The attack has some lag and recovery time after each slash which slows it down and limits its effectiveness. The final Super traps everyone in the trademark Metal Gear cardboard boxes and allow Raiden to track them down and kill them with ease. Players can only crawl away while under the box. The moves main limitation is that some of the boxes are decoys.

The game is slated for a November 20 release on both the PS 3 and PS Vita. Anyone who purchases the PS3 version will also receive a free download voucher for the Vita Version.
