NBA players in particular will have something to look forward to when they come to New York City for the 2015 All-Star Weekend.
Scores, one of the premiere strip clubs in downtown Manhattan, announced that it will offer free lap dances to every NBA player during the All-Star Weekend, regardless of whether they are an All-Star or playing off the bench, based on a TMZ report.
TMZ featured the Scores' offer via Twitter,
According to the NY strip club, the rules of the offer are very simple. If their guest is on an NBA roster, girls will strip down and give them a free lap dance for free. Coaches, general managers and team owners will have to pay for their own good time, though as the offer is only for players. The promo will run over the course of the big NBA event.
Scores is one of the most famous gentlemen's clubs in the United States, with clubs in other key cities like Baltimore, Tampa, Chicago, New Orleans, and Atlantic City. The club's popularity grew fast during the 1990s especially after radio host Howard Stern kept mentioning it in his shows. The place is known for being frequented by celebrities, politicians and athletes.
The 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend officially begins on Thursday, February 12 at around 10 a.m. ET, so NBA players can begin availing of their free lap dances at Scores immediately.
NBA.com reported that the event will run for four days, consisting of skills competitions, concerts, a celebrity game, and the much-anticipated NBA All-Star Game. The NBA All-Star Game will be played on Sunday, February 15 at 8:30 p.m. so All-Stars can retreat at the Manhattan club afterwards to rest their tired bodies.
It was not the first time that Scores in Manhattan offered free lap dances to NBA players. Dime Mag reported that when LeBron James hit free agency earlier in 2014, Scores tried to help the New York Knicks land the superstar by offering a lifetime pass to get free lap dances and starting a "LeBron James Day" at the club, where every stripper will wear his jersey when going onstage to perform. LeBron will further get a lifetime pass to get complimentary dinners at the place. All these incentives were previously offered to LeBron if he decided to transfer to the Knicks. Knicks star Carmelo Anthony was also given free lap dances for a lifetime if he re-signed with the Knicks. It is not confirmed, however, if he availed of the free passes so far.
