Some rumors are saying that Bethesda would release the sixth installment of the "Elder Scrolls" in 2016, ahead of "Fallout 4." Though the next "Elder Scrolls" has already been hinted during the recent Consumer Electronics Show this January, Master Herald reported that the "Elder Scrolls 6" which is rumored to be called "Argonia" would not likely arrive this year as it is scheduled for next year.
Design & Trend says in a separate report that the launch would likely happen in the month of March since it is in line with Bethesda's typical release pattern for its games. Also, it noted that few games have been scheduled for a March release date so this means that there would be little competition and that "Elder Scrolls 6" might even take the center stage. Venture Capital Post on the other hand reports that the new "Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia" for Xbox One and PS4 is expected to be released this Christmas or in January next year.
Master Herald claims that the new "Elder Scrolls" game would likely be released ahead of the next "Fallout" game since no promotional initiative or announcement have been made about the latter to date. At the moment, it is being reported that Bethesda is focusing on and prioritizing the "Elder Scrolls Online." It said that Bethesda has not yet given up on it despite that it came out as "a bit of a disappointment" to some of its players. Thus, they are really doing their best to restore their fans' trust.
The rumors about "Elder Scrolls 6" became stronger when it has been reported that Bethesda might be hiring voice actors to work for its new project "AAA video game title" wherein a hero fights "war in Skyrim." Plus, The Fuse Joplin notes that Bethesda game director Todd Howard announced in 2011 that they are working on two big projects. It says that there is a possibility that one of these project is indeed the next "Elder Scrolls." But none of these has been confirmed to date so fans should still take this with a grain of salt.
Master Herald's Arash Fekri says there is a high possibility that the game would officially be introduced and launched in mid-June this year during the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event in Los Angeles.
Master Herald says players can expect some new gameplay features in the upcoming "Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia." It revealed that the game will start at the Black Marsh or Argonia. Bethesda earlier teased that players in this new installment will now be permitted to explore other parts of Tramiel like Morrowind, Skyrim, Cyrodill, and Hammerfall.
The same news outlet also said that FrenzyStance with the maps have also been reduced in the new version. Potential buyers and gamers can also expect a multiplayer online mode feature included in the new installment. However, note that this new mode will require different characters from those used in the single-player mode. It was also reported that Bethesda might have struck down its six-month subscription option on the multiplayer mode to make the "Elder Scrolls Online" free.
