The new Samsung flagship phone, Galaxy S6, will arrive earlier than expected, Android Origin declared. According to the news outlet, since it has been reported that Samsung would ditch Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chips due to some overheating issues and would just release the new device using its own chips, then it is logical to assume that the new device would be launched and released earlier than everybody has expected.

The Android Origin report says the new Samsung flagship would probably come out in the market earlier than March or April, considering Samsung's launch history. It noted that the previous Galaxy S4 phone had a March launch date in New York before. It was then released to the market the month after that. In the case of the current flagship phone, the Galaxy S5, the launch happened during the February Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It was then released in April.

As for the new Galaxy S6, we can assume that it would be unveiled during the MWC this March. Then it would be available in the market about two to three weeks after the official announcement, Android Origin predicts. Is this quite surprising? The report says it is "interesting" to see Samsung take the leap in releasing phones so quickly. Does this mean they are creating something else? Are they planning something new? Or is this just a marketing strategy to advance their stance in the competition?

Meanwhile, Sam Mobile reported that the new Samsung flagship phone would be an "innovative premium handset with a special function." However, it did not provide any other details as to why the new device is called such.

"Samsung isn't best known for innovation; experimentation is perhaps a better term to describe how Samsung goes about its business...[I]t doesn't really mention what phone will incorporate the innovation and the special function, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell that the Galaxy S6 (and possible an Edge version thereof) is pretty much the only big thing besides the next Note," it added.

It has been reported earlier that the new Samsung Galaxy S6 would use its own Exynos processors. Aside from this, the device is believed to get a Quad HD (2560x1440) display, the new Android 5.0 Lollipop update, a 3GB RAM, 32/64/128GB storage, 16/20 megapixel main camera and 5 megapixel front camera. The rumors about Samsung's new flagship device came after it has been reported that the firm is embarking on a new project called "Project Zero." The name which is a first in the company indicates that it is creating the new device from "scratch" and on "an entirely new vision." Samsung has not yet confirmed these rumors.
