Selena Gomez last released an album in 2013, so many are anticipating a 2015 return for the pop singer with a new album, a new tour and possibly even a new sound, Hollywood Life reported.

Gomez's last album was 2013's "Stars Dance" and considering the new musicians gearing up to return this year, she may also be planning a comeback of her own.

Nik Hatziefstathiou from OMG Concert already tweeted about it last Christmas, saying, "Peeped at some dope 2015 tour schedules. Selena Gomez have some huge things in store for the New Year #concertTime."

He also tweeted about a comeback from Demi Lovato and Lorde, but SelGo's fans are particularly interested as to what "huge things" she'll be unveiling this year. A source has revealed though that "The Heart Wants What It Wants" singer is possibly planning to follow in the footsteps of "Problem" singer Ariana Grande.

"Her new album is going to be a completely new sound and a new vibe," the source told Hollywood Life. "She wants to gear things more toward Ariana Grande and EDM."

If the source is right, those are certainly interesting choices for the pop singer. Here are some songs from Grande that Gomez could possibly remake and put her own twist on:

1. "Break Free" featuring Zedd

The song is the second single off of Grande's "My Everything" album, and interestingly enough it was produced by EDM or electronic dance music artist Zedd, who Gomez is reportedly dating, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Gomez and Zedd were spotted leaving a restaurant in Atlanta on Saturday looking "cozy," were "definitely cuddling in the booth" and left the restaurant laughing, according to a source.

Considering the success of "Break Free," Gomez might go the same route since she's already getting close and personal with Zedd himself.

2. "Bang Bang" with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj

The song was a hit on music charts worldwide thanks to its fun beat, but also the girl power emanating from the collaboration of the three top female artists.

Gomez has always been vocal about girl power and was part of Seventeen's Girl Power movement last year, alongside "Glee" star Lea Michele and First Lady Michelle Obama, according to Daily Mail.

"If you're able to look yourself in the mirror every day with the decisions that you make, that's where power starts," Gomez said to Seventeen.

A girl power anthem, and even a collab with other female artists might not be a bad move.

3. "The Way" feat. Mac Miller

Love songs are a staple with any artist, and Gomez herself has more than a few love songs under her belt. However, after the "The Heart Wants What It Wants," she might want to consider a track like Grande's, a song that's flirty and fun with bouncy piano riffs and throwback R&B style beats, according to Digital Spy.

Also, "The Way" has a Spanglish version, and Gomez herself once released a Spanglish for "Who Says" and "A Year Without Rain." It would be interesting for fans to hear her sing something new.
