A handful of female celebrities are on a mission to re-elect President Barack Obama.

Singers Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Sheryl Crow and actresses Eva Longoria, Jane Lynch, Olivia Wilde and Julianne Moore have joined forces in a television ad in order to encourage female voters to re-elect Obama to another term, according to Zee News.

In the video, Beyonce says: "He has the story that I can tell my daughter, because it shows that no matter where you start out, you can work hard and you can do whatever you put your mind to," Zee reports.

Lopez then added, "Women will help decide this election."

Beyonce has long been a strong supporter of Obama. After singing "At Last" during his inauguration. She and mogul husband Jay-Z seem as if they've become personal friends with the President and First Lady Michelle Obama, attending various events together, touring the White House and writing personal letters. Michelle has frequently expressed her admiration for the singer.

"To J and B, thank you so much for your friendship. Beyoncé could not be a better role model for my girls," the President said. He even joked about having a common bond with the couple.

"We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are. So, you know, we've got a little bond there. It's hard but it's OK," he said.

Beyonce shot a video and recorded a song for Michelle's "Let's Move" inititiative to fight childhood obesity aptly titled "Move Your Body."
