The No. 1 rated comedy of last year's fall season, '2 Broke Girls' returns to the screen on September 24. Very few spoilers have managed to leak out about the show's second season but fans can rest assured that the new season will be filled with hilarious moments for their favorite waitresses Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs).

Despite wide criticism for its first season, the show has amassed a large following and will probably continue during the upcoming season. Fans witnessed the girls impressing Martha Stewart during the season finale as well as the departure of Max's love interest, Johnny (Nick Zano).

According to TV Film News, this season the girls will have to deal with being robbed while working at the diner. The blog also reports that Caroline will lose a lucky keepsake early on and both will hold on to expectations of Martha Stewart's help.

TV Line reported that that show will get a new guest star, Ryan Hansen, who may get a recurring role in the series. Hansen has reportedly signed on as "Candy Andy," who TV Line described as "a mannered, almost Willy Wonka-esque confectioner." Max and Caroline will meet Andy while advertising their cupcake business. Things get off to a rough start for the trio, TV Line said, but may see a relationship between Caroline and Andy.

'2 Broke Girls' returns for its second season on September 24 at its new time 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
