Barclay's Premiere League Leaders Chelsea return to business after a tough 2-2 Draw in the Champions League Match with Juventus.
Chelsea wasted a 2-0 lead off a brace from Oscar on Tuesday and gained just one point in the first game of their UCL Championship defense.
Now they turn their attention to 12th place Stoke City which has yet to win but has drawn in all four of its matches. The match comes after owner Roman Abramovich made a visit to the Chelsea training grounds. A visit from Abramovich has proven fatal for past Chelsea managers, but this is only the seventh match of Roberto DiMatteo's tenure.
Stoke City's main offensive threat is veteran Peter Crouch who has scored two goals in Stoke's first four games. Stoke is thrilled after a 1-1 draw last weekend with Manchester City in a match where Crouch scored in the opening 15 minutes. Last season's 14th place team Is likely satisfied with their four draws in four matches, especially considering that Arsenal and Man City were two of the four teams they tied.
Prediction: Chelsea is too good and they are likely looking for redemption after the blow 2-0 lead Tuesday. They will beat the stingy stoke City 2-0.
The match starts at 10 AT ET.
