It looks like Rihanna's eighth studio album is no longer a rumor but an already completed music compilation just waiting to be released.
Thus far, the only major rumor going around regarding Rih-Rih's upcoming album is whether #R8 will be its official title or not.
Trying to make good on her promise to deliver new music to her fans, the singer-rapper actually posted a new music track snippet on Instagram, which fans believe comes from the song titled 'Kiss It Better,' reports ET Online.
The latest snippet, posted on December 9, is the second in two weeks that Rihanna shared to her fans which seem to indicate that even the singer can no longer contain her excitement on the upcoming drop of her #R8 album.
On November 25, Rihanna posted on her Instagram account, named badgalriri a 15-second song snippet which stirred fans almost to no end as they have been waiting for new music from the singer for more than two years already.
Also on December 9, Rihanna also posted on Instagram a photo of an old lady wearing a blue bad gal cap and holding a manually-rolled cigarette. She captioned it "the 'where is #R8?' starter pack."
On November 19, Rihanna marked exactly two years since releasing her seventh album "Unapologetic" in 2012. The singer-rapper has released a total of seven albums from 2005 to 2012, reports MTV.
"'Unapologetic' earned her the best-selling debut of her career with 238,000 copies sold in its first week of release. The 2012 album has since sold more than one million copies and has been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America," details ET Online in another report.
In an interview with ET's Sophie Schillaci on mid-November, the 26-year-old singer-rapper disclosed that her next album should be out 'very soon.'
ET caught up with Rihanna while on the red carpet wearing a chic pink business attire for the premiere of the film "It's Not Over."
"That's my hope. I'm really excited about the music that we've been working on so I can't wait for people to hear it," Rihanna said.
While there is no specific date mentioned on the actual release or even the title of her latest album, Rihanna nonetheless confirmed that something is indeed in the works, which is more than enough to get her fans more excited than ever, points out MTV.
Rih-Rih is not ruling out the possibility of a surprise album release the way Beyonce did in December last year, cites ET Online.
