Some users and fans have already been trying to imagine the design and specs of the Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra even though it has not yet been announced and released. So, what do you think would the new Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra look like?
A concept image cited by the Christian Today highlighted the thinner Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra measuring only 8.51 mm. The report noted that the thin design is quite not surprising as Sony, in the past, has produced some of the thinnest smartphones to date.
Aside from the thin design, the concept image also showed that the new phablet might get ultra-slim bezels at the top and bottom. It also showed the device with no bezels on the side, allowing users to enjoy a wider screen. To note, slim bezels are usually common among LG phones.
The very slim bezels of the phone thus leave the phablet with a 5.95-inch screen display. Christian Today also said that the device may also get a quad HD 2880 x 1440 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
The device is also expected to get front stereo speakers and S Force front surround sound. As for the camera, the device is likely get a "20.7-megapixel Exmor RS camera with 25600 ISO, 25 mm G Lens and RAW capture." However, it noted that earlier predictions pointed out that the phablet will only get a 16 megapixel camera.
Earlier reports from Christian Today also suggest that it will get a 4GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 805 chipset as processor.
The new Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra and the Sony Xperia Z4 are seen to be unveiled during the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in January, noting of the Japanese electronics giant's previous participation in various trade shows.
However, Air Herald is suggesting a different date saying it might be unveiled during the Mobile World Congress on March 2015. Android Origin also said the same citing unnamed "trusted sources."
According to Air Herald, the new Xperia Z4 will be larger with a 5.5 inch display and will have a 2560 x 1440 quad HD resolution. Its processor will also probably be upgraded to 2.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor. It will also have an upgraded graphics chip to Andreno 430 from Xperia Z3's Andreno 330. Lastly, there is a huge possibility that the new device will get the new Android 5.0 Lollipop as its operating system.
Concept Phones meanwhile said that the smartphone will get a RAM of 4 GB, a 20.7MP rear camera, and a 3.2 megapixel front camera. It also said that the phone will likely come with a 32 GB or a 64 GB internal storage.
