"Pokerface" singer Lady Gaga has revealed that she likes pop star Taylor Swift.
According to People magazine, the two singers have already met a couple of times and that there is nothing bad going on between them.
It quoted Lady Gaga telling Howard Stern on his SiriusXM channel Howard 100 that she met Taylor a "few times" and that she "can't say anything bad about her." She even revealed that Taylor told her that she is a fan of hers.
She cited a particular incident where she bumped into the "Blank Space" singer. "It was at the AMAs or something - her and I were sitting next to each other, and she goes, 'Oh my god! I love ARTPOP! And I love 'Applause!' 'Applause is my favorite song!'" Lady Gaga was quoted as saying in the report.
Lady Gaga, upon hearing that, did not immediately take the singer seriously, telling herself that "this chick is full of s---, right?"
But everything changed when she received a call from her "buddy" and stylist Brandon who told her that he was styling Taylor for a shoot and that the singer was "blasting Artpop so loud" and that she is even "dancing" and "posing."
She then started to like Taylor from then on. "I thought to myself, 'I like this girl.' You know why? Because she said the same thing to my face as she said behind my back. Yeah, I like her," she was quoted as saying in the report.
With that, People magazine is speculating that a collaboration between the two might be pushed. However, there has been no confirmation or comment about this particular rumor to date.
During an interview with Radar Online, Lady Gaga was asked whether the rumors that she and Taylor are "making love to one another," are true. To which the singer answered, "I don't think she would be into that...If she's into that, she can call me."
A Taylor-Lady Gaga love team will definitely push through but it will not be with Taylor Swift. This as Lady Gaga is currently happy with her longtime boyfriend, actor Taylor Kinney. "I can't really imagine being with anyone other than who I'm with right now...What I do feed off is my ability to be able to have an intelligent conversation with him about how it feels to be a creative person because a lot of people don't always understand you...They think you're weird," E! Online quoted her.
The "G.U.Y." singer was also quoted in the report of People saying that she thinks and knows that Kinney is the "right guy."
