To the joy of millions of Apple users, the latest mobile operating system, iOS 6, will be released Wednesday. The new upgrade will bring many added features and improvements to iOS devices.
An official release time has not been confirmed, but many speculate the arrival time to be 1 p.m. EST based on previous updates. The release time is also based on time zones, so Apple users in Australia and New Zealand may have to wait until tomorrow to update.
According to Apple, iOS 6 will be a wireless update for all those already on iOS 5. The new mobile operating system will include new calling features, several new apps and a newly improved Siri.
