Now that all the details about the iPhone 5 are out, it's about time we start jumping on future devices (since that's what the internet seems to do best). This time, it looks like information is already surfacing about the the next iteration of Samsung's current flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S3

Dubbed the Galaxy S4, Korea Times reports that the manufacturer will reveal the next-gen handset in Barcelona next February.

"Samsung is ready to unveil the next Galaxy smartphone - the Galaxy S4 - at early next year's mobile world congress (MWC) in the Spanish city of Barcelona,'' said a Samsung official to Korea Times.

Korea Times also states that it expects the handset to be out by March, at the very latest.

There is no information on the technical specs of the handset, and speculation only points to it being more powerful than current smartphones and ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. In fact, the Samsung  official is so confident in the Galaxy S4 that he or she told Korea Times that the Galaxy S4 "will be more than enough to curb Apple's latest iPhone, compatible with long-term evolution (LTE) networks."

Despite the overwhelming hype and initial pre-order success of the Apple iPhone 5, Samsung does not look too worried. The Korean company stated recently that the Galaxy S3 surpassed 20 million sales in its first 100 days, and that they expect it to pass 30 million sales by the end of the year. They also said that they expect the yet-unreleased Galaxy Note 2 to double the sales figures of the original and sell 20 million units.

Does the idea of a Samsung Galaxy S4 excite you enough to make you hold off on purchasing an iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3? Keep in mind that we still have five months before Samsung gives us an official glimpse.
