Perhaps you're wondering why there are speculations of Justin Bieber taking on the Red Ranger's spandex suit in the upcoming "Power Rangers" movie.
The idea of linking the controversial pop singer to the flick was ignited by sightings of JB in a Red Ranger suit during Halloween a few weeks ago.
"The pop star went all out - and we mean all out - as the red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, and then teamed up with an equally impressive sidekick, his 4-year-old brother, Jaxon," MTV said. "Justin pulled out all the stops to completely nail this look, rocking the signature Power Ranger helmet, jumpsuit, belt buckle and formidable metal dragon shield. Jaxon, who was equally adorable, decided to forgo the helmet, but toted a laser gun to go with his matching costume."
Biebs then went on to do some dance moves in the costume, calling it the "power ranger shmoney dance," as noted in the caption that accompanied the video clip Justin uploaded on his Instagram.
However, Complex said that " the rigidity in his form is a bit disappointing" for a person who "probably spent over 10,000 hours dancing by now."
"He's undoubtedly turning up and feeling himself, but the boy's Shmoney Dance is damned stiff," the site added.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life wondered whether whether those dance moves were all in the name of impressing ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
"It's quite possible that Justin is trying to impress Selena with his sexy dance moves. After all, they're both known for posting videos with subliminal messages," the publication mused.
"Stiff" dance moves aside, it could also be said that Justin's dancing background could help him execute fight moves and choreography more easily. He also does look the part, judging by his Halloween costume look.
Considering these things, we've decided to do a poll among readers on whether Justin as the Red Ranger is a yay or a nay. What do you say? Let us know in the comments below.
In other news, Skrillex and Diplo are reportedly collaborating with JB, as reported by YourEDM.
"According to LA based DJ SKEE during his Weekend Update for Dash Radio, several Dash DJs had the chance to listen to an alleged collaboration between Skrillex, Diplo, and Justin Bieber," the site said. "The music mogul claims that the record will take non-Bieber fans by surprise and gave props to Skrillex and Diplo for the monumental feat of making Justin Bieber into 'music'."
If that is true, then Biebs must be taking a page out of Taylor Swift's book by shifting musical gears and getting into EDM.
