The Asian markets are gearing up for the iPhone 5's release, and even though a date has not been set for India, rumors indicate for a fall release.
The iPhone 5's confirmed featuresa Retina Display screen of 4-inches with a resolution of 1136x640, two cameras with eight-megapixels on the rear and two-megapixels on the front, 4G LTE, iOS 6, and new dock connector with Lightning.
Apple has prepared ahead of time with several mobile carriers in eastern Asian to comply with its new 4G LTE network.

According to The News Tribe, reports indicate prices in Singapore - without contract - is S$948 for 16GB version; S$1,088 for 32GB model, and S$1,238 for 64GB version - which in US dollars will be $772, $886, and $1,008 respectively for the three storage versions.
For the second most populated country in the world, India hasn't received a release date but is likely scheduled to see the new device under Apple's mission to reach 100 countries by December. Similar to efforts T-Mobile is doing in the US, according to BGR, AirTel and Vodafone have placed orders for nano-SIM cards which would activate those carriers on unlocked iPhone devices.
"By the end of this calendar year, we hope to be in a hundred countries, 240 carrier partners around the world. This will be our fastest phone rollout ever," said Schiller.
According to CIOL, Gartner India's Principal Research analyst Anshul Gupta said, "I think it should be available in India by the fourth quarter of 2012. Though there is no confirmation on pricing I would expect it to be at the high end of approximately $800+."
As the iPhone 5 is following the same price as the iPhone 4S, the 16GB in India could start at Rs. 44,500.
