Fans are eagerly waiting for "Pitch Perfect 2" to drop in theaters and are on the lookout for the latest news and hints about what to expect from the movie.

So far, it's been confirmed that the sequel to the "the second-highest-grossing music comedy film of all time" will be opening in cinemas on May 15, 2015, according to Buzzfeed. Also, it's a known fact that Anna Kendrick, Anna Camp, and Rebel Wilson will be back in part 2 to reprise their roles, with Hailee Steinfeld joining the cast for the first time.

However, it's not very certain what the film is all about. Thankfully, over the past few months, director Elizabeth Banks have since given clues and answers that help us piece the puzzle together and figure out what the sequel has in store for us.

Recently, the actress-director gave us another hint on what "Pitch Perfect 2" will be like. Based on her statement, it looks like she also revealed what the ending may be like, too.

"I won't say anything about that relationship, but the girls are now graduating seniors," she explained to Yahoo! Movies when asked whether Beca and Jesse are still together. "They're coming to the end of their time as Bellas and figuring out how to sort of leave the next and the comfort of each other's friendship and figure out what they're going to do with the rest of their lives."

This prompted Buzzfeed to speculate that the movie will have "one of those big, emotional graduation scenes in its final act."

"And don't discount those growing pains - there will likely be some bumps along the way as Beca, Amy, and the rest of the Bellas confront what it means to leave college behind," the site continued.

Elizabeth was also asked to confirm cameos in the film, as there was talk that Taylor Swift might just make an appearance in the movie.

"Some great, true acapella groups like Pentatonix and the Filharmonic, Penn Masala, I can confirm are all in the movie and they're amazing," the directress said.

"I can confirm that Taylor Swift is not in the film," she also added, as noted by E! News. "There are some really fun characters in this movie. One of the themes of the film is graduating and going out in to the big bad world, so we definitely brought in some grown-ups that the girls would encounter in their adult lives, and that was a lot of fun, to sort of figure out how to talk about what it is to leave this wonderful experience of college and your friends and go out into the world into your own again...that transition in people's lives."

Grown-ups huh? Will there be a music superstar who's not Tay making an appearance in the sequel then?

Keep watching this space!
