Marc Anthony really knows when to put a ring on it, or better yet, he knows to whom he should put those rings to. His first wife, Dayanara Torres was a Miss Universe winner; his second, Jennifer Lopez, is a Latina diva.
Now, Marc Anthony is about to tie the knot for the third time, this time, to model Shannon de Lima.
Even though De Lima has "model" status, very little is known about the 27-year-old. If you think you're off your game for knowing so little about her, don't worry, you are not alone. Here are some things that you should know about Marc Anthony's new muse, according to Fashion Style:
1) She is more than just a model. According to the Daily Entertainment, she is also blogger (fashion and beauty are her niche) and a swimwear designer. On top of that, she is also a beauty queen. She was a runner up in 2005 Miss Earth Venezuela.
2) She has a son from a previous relationship, 7-year-old Daniel Alexander, with actor Manuel Coco Sosa. Daniel will no longer be an only child when Shannon marries Marc Anthony, however - he had quite a few children from previous relationships as well.
3) She had a complicated relationship with Marc Anthony. Us Weekly reports that they have reportedly been on and off since March 2012 but it seems like they're all loved up: they have been engaged since March 2014, but kept it a secret until very recently.
4) Shannon and Marc plan to get married in the Dominican Republic by mid-November, but they have been married before - in a music video at least. The MV is for Marc's song, "Flor Palida" which featured a wedding scene with the two of them starring in it.
5) She is quite big on Instagram, with almost 125,000 followers to her name, and she's not shy about posting pictures either. In fact, her followers probably found out about her engagement early on: she had photos wearing her gorgeous ring on that finger way before the couple announced their engagement.
Marc Anthony is one lucky guy, with another beauty all set to being his wife. But what did his ex say about his latest wedding plans? According to Us Magazine, JLo isn't harboring any negative feelings for her ex. When asked about Anthony, she just said, "I'm happy for him."
And someday, like Anthony found De Lima, Lopez is sure that "someone great will come along."
