"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" is only a few weeks away, and fans should be in a frenzy for this tidbit: star Josh Hutcherson is launching an auction for a meet-and-greet at the premiere, all for a cause.
According to Just Jared, the actor has launched the auction for the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles, an organization that fights to stop seizures and find a cure, as well as help overcome the challenges of having epilepsy.
Josh is not only cute, he's sweet and very generous as well. Just Jared reports that bidding can be found online at CharityBuzz.com.
Josh plays Peeta in the "Hunger Games" series, and in a recent interview with Bustle, he dropped some sort of spoiler about the film saying, "It's really dark, really intense."
He also reveals about his character, "He has lost his mind and hates [Katniss] now."
The final trailer for the film has only recently been released, but here are some tidbits that we know about the film by now, as noted by Entertainment Tonight:
1) Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss is back home in District 12 for awhile, and it will be her motivation to fight, after she was removed from the arena. She will be fighting The Capitol with the position given to her, making her a revolutionary symbol in her district's cause.
2) Panem is a warzone, and Katniss and Gale (Liam Hemsworth) are in the middle of it, igniting an all-out war all throughout Panem.
3) There will be less of the sulky Gale looking at Katniss through the screen, but there will more of a hero-type version as he leads rebels and fights side-by-side with Katniss. Later on, the Katniss-Peeta-Gale triangle will spice up, too.
4) Peeta has gone bonkers during his time in The Capitol: not only has he been captured and tortured, he's also been brainwashed enough to lose his trust on Katniss.
5) Many of your favorite characters will be back, including Effie (Elizabeth Banks) Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), Plutarch (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and President Snow (Donald Sutherland). New characters will also be introduced, including Julianne Moore as President Coin, and Natalie Dormer as Cressida.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" will be in theaters on November 21, but of course, if you participate in the auction for the Meet-and-Greet with Peeta, you could be given the chance to see it before anyone else does, and that would be even better, don't you think?
